Laura’s Party Rentals LLC d/b/a “Laura’s Party Rentals” (the “Company”) provides rentals subject to this Policy and the terms shown on the Client’s online quote/invoice. By placing a reservation, paying a deposit, or accepting delivery, the Client agrees to all terms below.
Reservations & Deposits
- Deposits confirm your reservation and your agreement to this Policy and the invoice terms.
- All deposits are non-refundable for any reason, including weather (rain/wind), public-health events (e.g., COVID-19), or Client cancellation.
Payments
- The remaining balance is due in full upon delivery; items will not be left without payment.
- Rental charges are for time out, whether or not items are used.
Delivery, Pickup & Access
- “Special Delivery/Pickup” (specific time/day) starts at $65 and is only guaranteed when purchased and listed on the invoice.
- The Company typically aims to deliver 1–3 days prior to the event when feasible; if day-of delivery becomes necessary, the Client will be notified.
- Provide clear, safe access for delivery/pickup (vehicle access, unobstructed pathways). The Company will not carry equipment up more than three (3) steps and does not deliver to apartments, multi-unit complexes, trailer parks/homes, or public parks.
- If delivery cannot be completed due to access/site issues or inaccurate site information, a 35% restocking fee (or forfeiture of the deposit, if greater) will apply.
Site Preparation & Measurements
Client is responsible for ensuring the site is suitable before delivery.
- Jumpers/Canopies
- Minimum 4 ft of clearance on all sides from structures/utilities (house, roof, A/C, pool systems, etc.).
- Minimum 20 ft of overhead clearance (no trees, roofs, or power lines).
- Equipment will not be placed closer than 3 ft to any structure or utility.
- Dance Floors
- Must be installed on a level, firm surface. If on soil/dirt, the area must be leveled before delivery.
- Remove or recess any sprinklers that protrude into the area.
- For dancing only; not intended as general flooring or for heavy loads.
- Cancellations at delivery caused by inadequate clearance, unsafe/uneven surfaces, or other site deficiencies are subject to a 35% restocking fee.
Inspection & Counts
- The Client must count and inspect items at delivery. If no discrepancies are reported at delivery, the delivered quantities and condition will be deemed correct.
- If any contracted items are missing or not in appropriate condition, the Client must notify the Company immediately to avoid replacement charges.
Care, Use & Supervision
- The Client assumes responsibility for items from delivery until pickup and will use them only for their intended purposes, in a safe and prudent manner.
- The Client is responsible for supervising all participants and guests using the equipment.
- A valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license) may be required at delivery.
Damage, Loss & Unreturned Items
- The Client is liable for loss, theft, disappearance, burn marks, stains, and damage beyond ordinary wear. The Company may, in its discretion, repair or replace damaged items at the Client’s sole expense.
- If items are not returned when due or are retained without authorization, the Client authorizes the Company and its agents to access the delivery location at reasonable times to recover Company property.
- All collection costs—including reasonable attorneys’ fees, court costs, collection agency fees, and related expenses—are the Client’s responsibility.
Property & Liability
- The Client is responsible for protecting driveways, landscaping, structures, vehicles, and personal property. The Company is not responsible for incidental or consequential property damage arising from delivery routes or placement requested/approved by the Client.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims arising from the Client’s use or supervision of the equipment, except to the extent caused by the Company’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Weather & Cancellations
- All deposits are non-refundable.
- Once items are delivered, the full balance is due, regardless of subsequent weather or event changes.
Acknowledgment
By paying a deposit, signing electronically, or accepting delivery, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to this Policy and the terms shown.
